Debut author Alex Guerra writes an intriguing tale of an everyday man caught in extraordinary circumstances. Unlike many characters of this genre, Arthur comes off as believable—admittedly in over his head and trying to make the best of the situation, which is a great departure from the over-confident main characters thrown into remarkable conditions. Galactic Forge is a fun romp with solid characters, exciting battle scenes, and an entertaining storyline.
• It's clearly a rip-off of other authors work. Not cool.
• Love the main character and the authors writing style. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
• This is a good series opener, with plenty of room for the story to continue. If the author had hired an editor to clean it up before publishing, it would be a 5 star book. Despite the lack of editing, it's a good story. I'll buy the next one when it comes out.

  Good read
• Protag is forced to fight a war that ain't his by an AI that will kill him. No the Ai isn't evil just to freaking stuck in its programing to help fight against the empire faction. Add on the protags desire to go home vs his moral compass and genuine want to help, but...home! Very heart vs brain struggle
• I started reading this book not really knowing if I was going to finish it. But I must admit that I was wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good science fiction story. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
